With 522 beds this hostels is probably one of the biggest in the world and not only the biggest, but also the best.
Rooms are spacious and clean, beds are fully made up and have a small reading light. (handy when you get in late and don't want to bother other room mates)
The kitchen is big and complete, profesional frigdes, stoves and mircowaves are there to serve you. If you don't fancy to cook yo can try the bistro on the lower floor.
The safety in the hostel is very good, all rooms have swipe card access and private lockers you can lock with your own padlock.
This hostel is highly recommanded when you first enter Australia, you get a good bed and a good sleep and that is waht you need after a long flight. It's not the cheapest hostel but again, one of the best.
Make sure you book in advance as this hostel fills up very quick.
Make sure you have a swim at the olympic size swimming pool at the roof of the hostel, and enjoy the sauna after your seen the skyline of sydney from the balcony
